Our background

We employ your people
in Denmark, so you can hire sooner

EOR Denmark is the legal employer for staff that companies abroad hire in Denmark. We hold the contract, run payroll in DKK and report to Skattestyrelsen and ATP every month, while you lead the work. You need no Danish company or CVR number.

A first hire in Denmark normally means forming an ApS, registering as an employer and learning a payroll system built on tax cards, fixed levies and a holiday year that starts in September. We exist so you can skip that.

Our purpose

What we solve

Companies abroad often find the right person in Denmark long before they have reason to open a company there. The rules that follow are specific: written terms by day 7, eIndkomst reporting, ATP and Samlet Betaling levies, a September to August holiday year. Together they make a part-time job.

Our answer: we employ the person under Danish law and carry the employer duties, while you keep the relationship and the work. If a company of your own makes sense later, we help move the employee.

Principles

What do we hold to?

Six commitments that shape how we employ people in Denmark for clients abroad.

Our name on the contract

Our name is on the contract, the payslip and the eIndkomst report, with every duty that goes with it.

One person to ask

A named account manager handles your employees from offer to exit, so you never explain the background twice.

Real people reply

Questions go to people who work with Danish payroll every month, by email or video, and get an answer rather than a reference number.

Statutory records kept

Written terms, working-time records and holiday accounts are kept as Danish law expects, for the full periods it sets.

Grow, or move to an ApS

Add one employee or ten, or move people to your own ApS later. Each new hire follows the same route and the same fee structure.

Readable pricing

Euro-denominated, from €599 per employee per month; each Danish levy itemised at cost.

Your support

Who looks after your hires?

Four kinds of help sit behind every person we employ for you in Denmark.

Account management

Your named contact for questions, approvals and planning, from the first offer to the last day.

Pay runs and reporting

Monthly pay runs, A-skat and AM-bidrag reported to Skattestyrelsen through eIndkomst, and ATP and Samlet Betaling levies paid on the quarterly invoice.

HR and employee help

Answers for employees on holiday, sick leave and parental leave, and for you on notice and changes to terms.

Contracts and first steps

Contracts under Funktionærloven, written terms by day 7 under Ansættelsesbevisloven, and help for newcomers getting a CPR number and tax card.

All four work from the same employee record, so nothing is lost.

Coverage

Where can your Danish hires be based?

Anywhere in Denmark. Employer duties are the same in every municipality; what changes is the municipal tax rate in the employee’s tax card. For 2026 Copenhagen charges 23.39% and Aalborg 25.60%. Staff working from home follow the same working-time and rest rules.

Cities

Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg, as well as smaller towns across the country.
